Job summary

People Group Recruitment is partnering with a leader in Australasian logistics to fill a Senior Export Coordinator role in Sydney. The position focuses on coordinating export activities from receipt of an order through to delivery, with emphasis on Air and Domestic, FCL, LCL and Breakbulk shipments.

You will liaise with customers and overseas offices, handle CW1 quoting, AQIS inspections, customs clearance, and ensure high levels of customer service while supporting billing and office duties.

Your new role - Senior Export Coordinator

This position will be responsible for coordinating the export function from receipt of an order through to delivery with a focus on Air and Domestic, FCL, LCL and / or Breakbulk shipments. Managing pricing requests is also part of this role

The Senior Export Coordinator is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:

• Liaising with customers and overseas offices to coordinate export enquiries and shipments
• Registering Export shipments in Carowise (CW1) and coordinating export clearance formalities with PFS Customs Broker.
• Coordinating AQIS inspections and formalities
• Monitoring progress of customs and quarantine clearance via IC S and communicating the outcome to the customer
• Coordinating deliveries of customs released freight to destination and de-hire containers to empty depots
• Preparing & issuing RFQ's to internal & external customers
• Completing billing process; timely and accurately coding of supplier's invoices and preparing files for handover to PFS Accounts as per contracted rate agreements
• Deliver a very high level of customer service to all parties
• Participating in general office tasks as required

• Senior Export Coordinator experience
• Knowledge of customs and freight forwarding terminology
• Current exposure to & use of CW1 - quoting & file management
• Strong problem-solving skills

• Advanced negotiation and relationship skills
• High level customer service skills
• Positive and professional attitude
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
• High attention to detail and strong planning and organization skills
• Ability to priorities tasks effectively in a busy work environment

• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Excellent working knowledge of Customs IC S and Cargowise (CW1) computer systems
