Mercure Gold Coast Resort on the Gold Coast is seeking a Food & Beverage shift supervisor to lead our restaurant, The Green Dining, and oversee banquet/event service across conference spaces. You will coordinate a skilled team, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold the resort’s culture of warmth and hospitality.

The role requires strong guest service skills, leadership, and RSA certification, with availability for weeknights, weekends, and holiday periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or resort F&B team as a supervisor or team leader.
• RSA Certificate.
• Excellent food & beverage knowledge, including dietaries and allergies.

Responsabilités

• Oversee smooth operations of the Restaurant and Bar.
• Coordinate the team to provide seamless banquet and event service.
• Ensure all guests receive excellent hospitality from all team members.
• Respond to guest concerns with professionalism and calm composure.
• Support with team briefing, training, and onboarding of new team members.
• Promote a positive team culture across the Food and Beverage team.

Where you’ll be working

Overlooking the Resort’s sparkling pool and the Palm Meadows Golf Course, you’ll be serving guests and leading the F&B team in our locally inspired restaurant, The Green Dining, and supervising our Banquets team across our many conference and event spaces.

• Passionate about connecting with people and providing hospitality with heart
• Experience in a hotel or resort F&B team as a supervisor or team leader
• Excellent food & beverage knowledge, including dietaries and allergies
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team to success
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• RSA Certificate
• Reliable transport (public transport not accessible at required shift times)
• Available to work weeknights & weekends and holiday season
