Qantas Airways in Mascot, Sydney, is seeking an Officer Flight Dispatch to provide fuel and air traffic flight plans and operational support across the network. This role trains in flight planning, flight watch and database maintenance, and operates on a 7-day rotating roster.

You will bring strong airline knowledge, customer focus, and strong analytical and communication skills to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of airline operations and commercial priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels of the organisation.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide fuel & air traffic flight plans and operational support for all flight dispatch activities.
• Analyse aeronautical data for pre-flight planning, in-flight communications and re-routing/replanning.
• Maintain flight dispatch database and support back-up systems.
• Identify information affecting flight planning across the Qantas network and act accordingly.
