Qantas is seeking an Officer Flight Dispatch in Mascot, Sydney for a 15-month fixed-term, full-time role. You will provide fuel and air traffic flight plans and support flight crew with pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight activities, working on a 7-day rotating roster.

Therole emphasizes safety, teamwork and high‑quality customer service, with training across flight planning, flight watch and database maintenance. English proficiency is essential.

Formación

• Sound understanding of airline operations and priorities.
• Strong customer service focus and ability to lead and motivate.
• Analytical, problem solving and decision-making under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks under deadlines.
• Experience in operational environments and disruption management.
• Tertiary qualifications in Aviation Management or related discipline desirable.
• English Level 5 Proficiency is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide fuel & air traffic flight plans and operational support for flight dispatch to Qantas Flight Crew.
• Analyse aeronautical data for pre-flight planning and in-flight rerouting/replanning.
• Maintain flight dispatch database and support three main areas: flight planning, flight watch, and monitoring.
• Operate in a 7-day rotating roster with shift work.
