Job summary

Warrigal is seeking a Finance Officer to support the Finance team with numbers-driven operations, reporting, debtor management and month-end tasks. You will manage high volumes of financial information with accuracy and timeliness, while communicating effectively with residents, suppliers and colleagues.

The role emphasizes collaboration, process improvement, and adherence to Aged Care standards to deliver sound financial operations that support Warrigal’s care services.

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance-related role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Experience using ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

The opportunity

You’ll provide operational support across Warrigal’s Finance team, contributing to a range of activities that help maintain accurate, reliable, and efficient financial operations.

This varied role will see you support key finance processes, reporting, debtor management, and month-end activities. Working with large volumes of financial information and within important deadlines, you’ll help ensure the business has timely and accurate data to support effective decision-making.

You’ll also be a key point of contact for residents, customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, responding to financial enquiries and helping resolve account-related matters with professionalism and care.
