Job summary

The GPT Group is seeking a Financial Operations Manager to help build and run our new Financial Operations team. You will turn AI and automation into reality, managing people, providers and processes to deliver finance outputs and drive new ways of working.

This hands-on role focuses on optimising how our finance team operates, from timetables to systems, with a culture of continuous improvement and strong governance.

Qualifications

• Finance professional with history of improving processes.
• Practical interest in automation and AI.
• Comfortable managing people and providers, including offshore teams.
• Ability to dive into process details and improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Drive process improvement and surface opportunities to automate and standardise.
• Map and re-imagine processes using AI tools.
• Manage service providers, transitions and monitor KPIs.
• Deliver automation across processes and maintain GPT AI library.
• Maintain control standards and support the Compliance Plan (GS007).
• Own process timetables, output quality and financial system timetable.
• Collaborate with Technology on integrations and asset onboarding/offboarding.
• Lead analysts and offshore provider team to build capability and continuous improvement.
