Job summary

Fyndr Group is seeking a Head of Operations to own day-to-day operations and scale internal systems. You will commercialise improvements, automate where possible, and drive AI adoption while managing suppliers and risk.

The role reports to the COO and sits within a lean, fast-moving FinTech environment. You will lead an existing Operations Manager and coordinate across teams to prioritise investments, improve processes, and strengthen business continuity.

Qualifications

• Experience leading broad operational functions with commercial judgement.
• Evidence of meaningful process, systems or operational improvement.
• Strong vendor and commercial judgement.
• Ability to challenge suppliers and assess systems technically.
• Experience guiding change across teams without direct authority.
• Experience developing and coaching direct reports.
• Ability to work independently in a lean environment.
• Working knowledge of ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
• Understanding of operational risk and business continuity.

Responsibilities

• Own and shape day-to-day operations to keep pace with growth.
• Identify opportunities to simplify or automate systems and processes.
• Lead practical adoption of AI across the business.
• Reduce manual work and reliance on individuals.
• Assess suppliers and vendor relationships; decide internal vs partner models.
• Set operational priorities and build the case for investment.
• Collaborate with functional leaders to drive adoption of improvements.
• Develop and coach the existing Operations Manager.
• Maintain proportionate operational risk, security and continuity controls.
