Job summary

Programmed Facility Management is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Administrator to support a major maintenance services contract. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will handle transaction processing, reconciliations, record management and month-end activities while collaborating with Finance and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance administration, accounts processing, bookkeeping or a similar financial support role.
• Experience processing journals, adjustments, invoices or financial transactions.
• Understanding of reconciliations, accruals and month-end processes.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Intermediate Excel and strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Process and allocate contract overhead costs accurately within required timeframes.
• Prepare manual invoices, credit notes, journals and financial adjustments.
• Prepare and validate payment journals for vendor invoices.
• Maintain payment records and monitor approval status.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies and transaction issues.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Ensure financial transactions are processed in accordance with approved controls and procedures.
• Support internal audits, reviews and compliance activities.
• Protect confidential and commercially sensitive information.
• Identify and elevate risks, errors or control concerns.
• Perform reconciliations and data integrity checks.
• Assist in identifying missing or inaccurate financial information and month-end tasks.
• Support accrual preparation and relevant reporting.
