Department of Justice and Community Safety VIC in Melbourne is seeking a Business Support Coordinator to provide financial, reporting and administrative support to the Victims, Redress and Systems Reform team. You will help teams meet goals through accurate reporting, sound processes and practical advice.

The role involves preparing briefs and reports for managers, managing budgets and records, and supporting governance with risk registers and continuity plans.

Formación

• No mandatory qualifications; experience in accounting, finance, or business administration will be highly regarded.
• Experience with financial reporting and compliance is preferred.
• Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office, Oracle and other business systems.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain complex information.
• Ability to manage competing tasks and work well with different teams.

Responsabilidades

• Provide financial, reporting and administrative support to the Victims, Redress and Systems Reform team.
• Prepare clear and accurate briefs and reports for managers, executives and Ministers.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, month-end reports and financial records.
• Maintain risk registers, business continuity plans and other key records to support governance.
• Assist Redress teams with finance, procurement, staff onboarding, equipment and other business needs.
