Cater Care is seeking a Chef for FIFO operations in Australia. The role focuses on preparing and presenting nutritionally balanced meals to support demanding roles in mining, with opportunities to develop skills in menu management and large-scale production.

Responsibilities include adhering to dietary requirements, maintaining food safety standards, stock management, and keeping a clean, safe kitchen. Police clearance within 6 months is required and the role supports a safety-forward work

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
• National Police Clearance (within 6 months).
• Ability to work independently and with others in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commitment to safe food handling and hygiene practices.

Responsabilités

• Food preparation and presentation across meals and functions.
• Adherence to dietary requirements and special requests.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety Program.
• Assist with stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking.
• Maintain a clean kitchen, equipment and utensils.
• Adherence to legislated food hygiene and general safety practices.
• Provide fast, friendly service and assist broader team as required.
• Demonstrate a strong safety culture aligned with Cater Care commitments.
