Job summary

Cater Care in Australia is seeking an experienced Chef for remote site operations on a 14/7 FIFO roster from Sydney. You will prepare high-volume meals and ensure HACCP compliance across breakfast, dinner and crib services.

The role offers 10–12 hour shifts, flights from Sydney, on-site accommodation and meals, uniforms, and career progression opportunities. A Manual Driver's Licence and Australian Working Rights are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or TRA-recognised trade qualification).
• Proven experience in high-volume catering, remote site operations, or large-scale buffet service.
• Current Manual Driver's Licence and full Australian Working Rights.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-volume breakfast, dinner, and crib takeaway meals for village residents.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, HACCP guidelines, and site hygiene standards.
• Manage food stock levels, coolroom rotations, and minimize kitchen waste.
• Cater for a wide variety of special dietary requirements, allergies, and menu preferences.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen utilities and dining room staff to maintain a smooth kitchen workflow.

Cater Care is seeking an experienced, passionate Chef to join our remote site operations. Operating on a 14/7 roster FIFO from Sydney, you will deliver high-volume, high-quality meal services to keep our site residents well-fed and energised.

• 14 Days On, 7 Days Off roster
• 10 to 12-hour shifts (covering day, night, and split rosters as required)
• FIFO flights provided- FIFO from Sydney

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or TRA-recognised trade qualification)

• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety regulations, and dietary management
• Current Manual Driver's Licence
