Cater Care in Perth is seeking a Chef for a FIFO role with a strong focus on nutrition and energy requirements for demanding roles. The position is full-time and permanent, with rosters including 8/6, 7/7, and 2/1 patterns, and a drive to deliver balanced meals across sites.

Ideal candidates will hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, possess a positive, customer-focused attitude, and be prepared for fast-paced shifts. Police clearance and pre-employment checks are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Commitment to friendly customer service and a can-do attitude.
• Bellied by fast-paced, long shifts typical of FIFO roles.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent preferred.
• COVID vaccination certificate and police clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation and presentation across meals and events.
• Adherence to dietary requirements and safe food hygiene practices.
• Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking assistance.
• Maintain a clean kitchen and proper use of equipment.
