Job summary

Sika Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Technical Sales Representative - Distribution to service existing customers, develop new accounts, and drive market share within the distribution channel across Australia.

You will liaise on product ranges, pricing, and promotional initiatives, manage stock levels, and record activities in Salesforce. Regular regional travel is required; a relevant degree and industrial market experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Ability to develop business presentations and sales information with the sales team.
• Comfortable liaising with all decision-makers and working with B2B and Channel Distribution.
• Competent, team player, reliable, energetic, and capable of working autonomously with a strong marketing and sales aptitude.
• University or Trade degree or minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Industrial Market Field.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship-building skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, or SAP.
• Knowledge and previous merchandising experience in a related industry (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Serve and support existing customers; develop new ones per targets.
• Coordinate product range, pricing, action plans and promotions.
• Provide market information to Sales Manager for planning.
• Maintain stock levels and arrange retail orders.
• Complete call cycles on schedule; log activities in Salesforce.
• Merchandise stock in stores as needed.
• Grow market share by building relationships with key retailers.
• Support all Sika retail distribution activities.
• Organize Sika brand support events and promotions.
• Identify training opportunities and assist with programs.
• Attend internal and external training as required.
• Prepare monthly activity summaries for the manager.
• Follow sales, pricing and expense policies.
• Travel to customer sites regionally.
• Perform other tasks as agreed with Sika.
