Job summary

Arisit Pty. is seeking a customer-focused field technician to install, diagnose, service and repair domestic appliances at customer locations across metropolitan and regional areas in Victoria.

You will work in a mobile service environment, with opportunities to assist in workshops when required, handling refrigerators, washers, ovens and more. You will use strong diagnostic skills, read technical drawings, and communicate clearly with customers while managing workloads and keeping accurate

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and complete high-quality appliance repairs.
• Service and maintain products in both in-warranty and out-of-warranty scenarios.
• Test equipment to confirm safe operation and performance.
• Aim to complete repairs during the first customer visit when possible.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers.
• Manage scheduled jobs, workloads and travel routes efficiently.
• Complete accurate service reports within required timeframes.
• Record labour, parts used and work completed.
• Assess spare-parts requirements before attending appointments.
• Manage spare-parts stock in the service vehicle.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Use PPE and follow safe work practices.

Join our Service Operations team and use your technical expertise to deliver reliable appliance repairs and outstanding service to customers across metropolitan and regional locations.

About the Role

In this field-based role, you will install, maintain, service, diagnose and repair domestic appliances at customer locations, while also assisting with workshop repairs when required. Equipment includes refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, cooktops, rangehoods and microwaves.

You Will

• Test equipment to confirm safe operation and performance
• Aim to complete repairs during the first customer visit wherever possible
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
• Manage scheduled jobs, workloads and travel routes efficiently
• Complete accurate service reports within required timeframes
• Record labour, parts used and work completed
• Assess spare-parts requirements before attending customer appointments
• Manage spare-parts stock held in the service vehicle
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment and follow safe work practices.

About You

You will be a customer-focused technician with strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently in a mobile service environment.

You will also have:

• A trade qualification or certificate in Electrical, Electronics, Appliance Service, Refrigeration or a Mechanical trade
• A Restricted Electrical Licence
• A minimum of three years’ experience diagnosing and repairing domestic appliances or similar equipment
• Experience repairing electronic or mechanical devices
• Previous field service, maintenance or technical support experience
• Whitegoods repair experience, which is highly desirable
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities
• The ability to read technical drawings, manuals and parts diagrams
• Strong written and verbal communication skillsConfidence using email and CRM systems
