Job summary

Commercial Kitchens Armiya in Melbourne is seeking a hands-on Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to diagnose, service and repair a range of hospitality equipment. You will travel to customer sites across Melbourne with a company van supplied, delivering quality workmanship and friendly customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in equipment servicing, maintenance or repairs in a technical trade.

Responsibilities

What Will You Be Doing?

• Diagnosing, servicing and repairing commercial kitchen appliances.

• Working with commercial dishwashers, combi ovens, fryers, cooktops, ovens and other hospitality equipment.

• Carrying out preventative maintenance and routine equipment inspections.

• Attending customer sites across Melbourne.

• Identifying faults and providing practical repair solutions.

• Communicating with customers and working closely with our friendly office team.

What Are We Looking For?

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience in equipment servicing, maintenance, repairs or a related technical trade.

• Enjoys troubleshooting and finding solutions.

• Is reliable, organised and comfortable working independently.

• Has good communication skills and a friendly attitude.

• Takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and great customer service.

• Holds a valid driver's licence.

Previous experience with commercial kitchen equipment is highly regarded.

Extra Qualifications? Even Better!

The following qualifications and experience would be a great advantage, but they're not essential:

• Victorian Gasfitting registration or licence, particularly with Type A Appliance Servicing qualifications.

• An A-Grade Electrical Licence or a relevant Restricted Electrical Worker's Licence (REL).

• Experience repairing and servicing commercial gas and electrical kitchen equipment.

• Experience with commercial dishwashers, combi ovens and other hospitality appliances.
