Job summary

Downer is seeking a highly organized Works Coordinator to join the Skilltech team on the Gold Coast. You will ensure work is scheduled efficiently, issues are resolved quickly, and contractual commitments are delivered on time.

The role requires coordinating daily schedules for field technicians, liaising with customers and internal teams, and proactively identifying process improvements to enhance service delivery. A dynamic, fast-moving environment awaits with ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, workforce coordination or logistics.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily schedules and work allocations for field technicians.
• Liaise with customers, clients and operational teams to ensure jobs are completed on time.
• Monitor work orders and manage scheduling changes where required.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues to minimise disruptions.
• Support contract performance and KPI delivery.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.
• Provide high-quality administrative support to operational teams.
