Job summary

Downer Group is seeking a highly organised Works Coordinator to join our Skilltech team. You’ll coordinate daily schedules for field technicians and ensure jobs are completed on time, while maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams.

In this fast-moving role you’ll balance priorities, resolve issues quickly and drive contract performance and KPI delivery. The ideal candidate has scheduling experience, excellent admin skills and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, workforce coordination or logistics.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational capability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily schedules and work allocations for field technicians.
• Liaise with customers, clients and operational teams to ensure jobs are completed on time.
• Monitor work orders and manage scheduling changes where required.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues to minimise disruptions.
• Support contract performance and KPI delivery.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.
• Provide high-quality administrative support to operational teams.
