Job summary

Motion Asia Pacific Pty is seeking a field-based Account Manager to grow and manage a portfolio of major resource and heavy industrial accounts across Queensland. You will work with site-based maintenance and engineering teams, delivering technical guidance and commercial solutions for installed equipment and new projects.

The role covers open-cut and underground coal operations, mineral processing facilities, CHPPs, heavy industrial sites, and mining contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in bearings and power transmission industry.
• Hands-on experience with rotating machinery.
• Established networks within mining or heavy industry.
• Familiarity with mine-site access requirements and shutdown environments.
• Mechanical Engineering qualification or relevant trade background.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen long-term partnerships with mining and industrial customers.
• Identify opportunities to expand supply of bearings and power transmission products.
• Support shutdowns, reliability initiatives, and plant improvement projects.
• Pursue upgrade and project opportunities.
• Conduct regular on-site visits to maintain strong customer engagement.
• Provide technical recommendations aligned to operational requirements.
• Manage commercial negotiations and account development strategies.
• Maintain a structured territory plan to achieve revenue growth targets.
