Job summary

Motion is a leader in the distribution of industrial products in Australia and New Zealand. This field-based role covers mining regions in Queensland, focusing on growing and managing major resource accounts and delivering technical and commercial solutions.

You will work with site maintenance and engineering teams, pursue upgrade opportunities, and travel to on-site locations with a valid driver’s license. A long-term career with development opportunities awaits.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build, manage and grow key customer accounts.
• Confident engaging with Maintenance Managers and Engineers.
• Strong business-development skills and results-oriented approach.
• Able to work independently in regional field-based role.
• Willingness to travel with a current driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen long-term partnerships with mining and industrial customers
• Identify opportunities to expand supply of bearings and power transmission products
• Support shutdowns, reliability initiatives, and plant improvement projects
• Pursue upgrade and project opportunities
• Conduct regular on-site visits to maintain strong customer engagement
• Provide technical recommendations aligned to operational requirements
• Manage commercial negotiations and account development strategies
• Maintain a structured territory plan to achieve revenue growth targets
