Job summary

RSEA Safety in Sydney is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager for our busy B2B team. This full-time, territory-based role covers Sydney CBD, Eastern Suburbs and North Sydney, with one day in the office per week and the rest on the road.

You will manage an existing customer base while pursuing new business, build strong relationships and deliver tailored safety solutions across commercial and industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in B2B sales or business development.
• Comfortable field-based, on-the-road role.
• Experience growing existing customer portfolios and developing new business.
• Strong relationship-building and customer-first mindset.
• Excellent prospecting and closing skills.
• Well organized with large geographic territory.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of B2B customers.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders across commercial, industrial and trade environments.
• Maintain regular customer contact through calls and site visits.
• Identify opportunities to increase share of wallet across existing accounts.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities; generate leads.
• Develop relationships with new customers across the Sydney CBD, Eastern Suburbs and North Sydney.
• Manage full sales cycle from initial contact to quoting and order placement.
• Negotiate pricing and close deals.
• Work toward sales targets and territory growth.
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain and customer service for order fulfilment.
• Provide market insights to support territory growth.
