Job summary

Blackwoods in Australia is seeking an Account Manager to cover Mount Isa and surrounding regions. You will drive growth across Hard Rock Mining, Utilities and Government sectors, manage strategic accounts, and deliver value-led solutions in a field-based role.

You'll build strong relationships face-to-face, scope customer needs onsite, and collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure outstanding service and margin performance. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in account management or business development.
• Experience managing strategic or key accounts in industrial/mining sectors.
• Strong knowledge of the Mount Isa region and surrounding industries.
• Excellent face-to-face relationship-building skills.
• Strong time management and territory planning abilities.
• Commercially astute with understanding of pricing and margins.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow strategic accounts across industrial sectors.
• Conduct regular face-to-face site visits to build relationships.
• Scope customer needs onsite and deliver value-led solutions.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline activity.
• Progress sales opportunities through CRM to maximise conversion.
• Develop and execute a territory call plan.
• Collaborate with Mount Isa Operations to ensure service delivery.
