Job summary

Home Caring Pty Ltd is seeking casual female Support Workers in East Maitland. You will assist with personal care, daily living activities, medication documentation, and following care plans while promoting independence and safety.

Strong English communication and empathy are essential, with a Certificate III in Disability or Aged Care and current First Aid/CPR and NDIS/Aged Care screening. Applicants should be punctual, reliable, and able to work flexibly with ongoing training, development

Qualifications

• Careful listener who can adapt to participant needs and care requirements.

Female Support Workers with experience in supporting NDIS or Aged Care participants needed in the East Maitland area.

About the role

Home Caring Pty Ltd is seeking casual female Support Workers to join their team in the East Maitland area. Our participants require support from staff who are patient, resilient, consistent, and experienced in delivering high quality support.

What you'll be doing

• Personal care and daily living assistance.
• Medication assistance and documentation.
• Following behaviour support strategies and care plans.
• Promoting independence while maintaining safety and wellbeing.
• Reporting any changes in participant condition or needs to the care team
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

What we're looking for

• You must be female to be considered for this role
• Experienced with supporting a participant who is diagnosed with bipolar and/or schizophrenia
• Someone who is caring and willing to listen to the participant’s care requirements and needs
• Must be good at dealing with minimalistic and contingencies
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills
• A caring, patient, and empathetic nature
• A Certificate III in Disability, Aged Care or equivalent qualification
• A current First Aid and CPR certificate
• A current NDIS/Aged Care workers screening check
• Some who is punctual and reliable
