Home Caring Pty Ltd is seeking casual Disability Support Workers to join our Hornsby team. You will provide personal care, daily living support and community access for NDIS participants, with shifts across mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

We value empathy, reliability and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A Certificate III in Disability/Aged Care, current First Aid/CPR, a valid driver's license and NDIS screening are required.

Qualifikationen

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with clients with Parkinson's or cognitive challenges
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Caring, patient and empathetic nature
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Current NDIS/Aged Care workers screening check

Aufgaben

• Provide personal care and daily living assistance.
• Support community access and transport.
• Assist with medication and maintain documentation.
• Follow behaviour support strategies and care plans.
• Promote independence while ensuring safety and wellbeing.
• Report changes in participant condition to the care team.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety standards.
• Assist with mobility where required.

About the role

Home Caring are seeking casual Support Workers to join their team in the Hornsby area. We require Support Workers who are available for morning, noon and afternoon and evening shifts and are experienced with supporting NDIS participants.

What you'll be doing

• Personal care and daily living assistance.
• Community access and transport support.
• Medication assistance and documentation.
• Following behaviour support strategies and care plans.
• Promoting independence while maintaining safety and wellbeing.
• Reporting any changes in participant condition or needs to the care team
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Some clients will require physical assistance with daily mobility

What we're looking for
