Job summary

The Star Sydney invites applications for an Assistant Manager at Cucina Porto. You will report to the Venue and lead a team to deliver daily operations with a focus on service excellence in a busy dining environment.

Ideal candidates bring management experience in large venues, strong planning and people-management skills, and a passion for guest experience. RSA certification and flexibility to work across a 7-day roster are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in management within a large busy dining/venue.
• Strong planning and resourcing skills.
• Proven ability to manage labour costs and operating expenses.
• Customer service excellence and communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist Venue Manager to lead and support achievement of financial and operational targets
• Oversee rostering, SOPs, training and performance management
• Assist with development, implementation and evaluation of service standards
• Ensure compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol and Liquor Act provisions
• Assist in recruiting and developing employees for timely growth
