Hamilton Island's qualia is seeking an exceptional Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping operations, combining hands-on leadership with a passion for people, personalised service and outstanding presentation in a luxury resort setting.

You’ll lead a large team across pavilions and spaces, manage budgets and rostering, and work with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience, with subsidised staff accommodation and exclusive employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper in a five-star or luxury property.
• Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams with empathy, energy and accountability.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and labour costs.
• A passion for personalised guest service, exceptional presentation and attention to detail.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience with payroll and rostering systems.

• Drive training, team engagement and continuous improvement across housekeeping operations.

As Executive Housekeeper, you’ll lead a large and dynamic team, ensuring every pavilion, public area and service space reflects qualia’s attention to detail. You’ll build a culture of care, accountability and pride, supporting your team to deliver the thoughtful touches that make each guest’s stay memorable.

To be successful, you’ll need:

• An open/unrestricted driver’s licence and a nationally recognised RSA certificate
