Coogee Bay Hotel is seeking an experienced Events Coordinator to join our team in Coogee, NSW. The role covers planning, coordinating, and executing weddings, conferences, and social events with a focus on guest experience.

You will partner with clients, manage vendors, and ensure budgets, logistics, and timelines are met while delivering exceptional service. The position is full-time and hands-on with close collaboration across departments.

Formación

• Experience in event planning or coordination.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and multitasking.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with clients to determine event requirements and objectives
• Plan and coordinate all aspects of events including venue selection, catering, AV setup, and decor
• Manage event budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors
• Coordinate with internal departments for seamless execution
• Oversee event logistics including setup, breakdown, and on-site coordination
• Provide exceptional customer service as the main client contact
• Handle issues or emergencies during events
• Conduct post-event evaluations and propose improvements
• Deliver sales strategies to exceed budgets and revenues
• Maintain event systems and weekly/monthly reporting
