Coogee Bay Hotel is seeking an organized Events Coordinator to plan, coordinate and execute weddings, conferences, social events and more. You will manage venue selection, catering, AV and decor, and act as the main client contact.

You will monitor budgets, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure flawless delivery while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in event planning or coordination.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
• Knowledge of the hospitality industry and event trends.
• Diploma or industry-related studies preferred.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with clients to determine event requirements and objectives.
• Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, and decor
• Manage event budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of events.
• Oversee event logistics, including setup, breakdown, and on-site coordination.
• Provide exceptional customer service and act as the main point of contact for clients.
• Deliver sales strategies designed to exceed revenues and budgets.
• Review guest feedback and provide weekly/monthly reporting.
