Job summary

Catering HQ is seeking a dynamic and passionate event coordinator to join our Club Parramatta team. You will manage end-to-end events, coordinate with venues, clients and suppliers, and ensure flawless delivery from inquiry to completion.

With 1–2 years' experience in event sales, you will build relationships, present proposals, update venue packages and help generate new opportunities, while delivering outstanding customer service and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar events role including sales.
• Experience with IVVY Sales and Catering or similar events software.
• Proven ability to drive sales and build client relationships.
• Excellent customer service ethos and high standards of quality.
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational ability.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain customer database for repeat sales.
• Acquire and follow up leads, including preparing event proposals.
• Assist end-to-end event coordination from sales to setup and delivery.
• Update venue event packages as required.
• Generate new business opportunities.
• Attend industry/networking events.

Catering HQ is looking for a dynamic and passionate professional with proven experience in end to end event coordination to join our talented and dedicated team at Club Parramatta!

THE ROLE

Your primary responsibility is the execution of high quality, smooth running events which exceed client expectations whilst developing and maintaining these client relationships and to ensure that all enquiries are responded to in a timely manner and customer expectations are exceeded. This role also has operational requirements and is a hands on role.

• Build and maintain customer database to leverage repeatable sales opportunities
• Acquiring and following up on leads including preparing and presenting event proposals
• Assist with end to end event coordination from sales to set up and delivery of an amazing event
• Updating venue event packages as required
• Generating new business opportunities
• Attending appropriate industry/networking events

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role which includes event sales
• Experience with IVVY Sales and Catering (or similar events program)
• Proven ability to drive sales
• Exceptional customer service ethic and high expectations for quality.
• Engaging personal presence with outstanding verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Passionate approach to sales
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines
• Positive and flexible attitude
• Self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
