Job summary

SDN Children's Services seeks a Technology Support Officer to provide frontline IT assistance to staff across the organisation in Sydney. You will resolve desktop, application and connectivity issues, log tickets accurately, and support onboarding and offboarding, accounts and device provisioning.

This entry‑level role emphasises customer service and practical problem‑solving. Strong communication skills, motivation to learn, and a hands‑on approach to Windows 11, Microsoft 365, AD and Azure are

Qualifications

Entry-level IT support role; 1–2 years' experience is helpful but not required.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Familiarity with Windows 11, Microsoft 365, AD and Azure is valued.
Ability to balance priorities and work independently or in a team.
Valid NSW Working with Children Check is required; driver's licence desirable.

Responsibilities

Provide first-level desktop and helpdesk support, diagnosing issues with minimal disruption.
Log, prioritise, document and resolve requests in the ticketing system.
Create and manage user accounts including Active Directory; support onboarding/offboarding.
Provision devices and equipment; provide remote and onsite support as needed.
Contribute to technology projects and maintain knowledge-base resources.
