Job summary

Optus is seeking an experienced Training Compliance Manager to lead enterprise learning governance and ensure mandatory training obligations are met. You will drive consistent standards, governance practices and reporting across the organisation while partnering with Risk, Legal, and business teams.

You will translate complex regulatory requirements into practical learning solutions, monitor training completion, and support audit readiness with robust data and analytics.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in learning governance, compliance training or risk management within a large organisation.
• Strong knowledge of governance frameworks, regulatory requirements and audit processes.
• Experience managing mandatory learning programs and compliance reporting.
• Ability to translate complex compliance requirements into practical learning solutions and governance processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across functions.
• Highly analytical with meticulous attention to detail and continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience with learning management systems and workforce compliance data.
• Desirable: experience with digital learning technologies (Articulate 360, Storyline, Rise).

Responsibilities

• Lead governance, oversight and continuous improvement of compliance and mandatory learning programs.
• Develop and maintain learning governance frameworks, policies and controls.
• Ensure compliance learning obligations are monitored and reported across the business.
• Partner with Risk, Legal, Compliance and stakeholders to assess training needs and mitigate risks.
• Monitor completion, effectiveness and audit readiness through data and reporting.
• Establish governance processes for content reviews and regulatory updates.
• Drive initiatives to improve learning compliance outcomes and employee capability.
