Job summary

Trane Technologies in Brisbane is seeking a Business Development Manager to join the energy efficiency sales team. Based in Brisbane, you will research and qualify prospects, make outbound calls to decision makers and drive deals to closure.

You will record notes in Salesforce, meet KPI targets and benefit from coaching, development pathways and opportunities to earn significant commissions in a fast-growing energy sector.

Qualifications

• Proven outbound calling and closing experience.
• Able to handle high daily call volume and meet KPIs.
• Proficient with Salesforce or similar CRM and online research tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication with professional record keeping.
• Coachable and team-focused with growth mindset.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify business prospects using LinkedIn, web tools and CRM.
• Qualify leads against agreed criteria (location, size, industry, budget).
• Make outbound calls to introduce our client and assess interest.
• Run discovery calls and close deals.
• Record detailed notes in Salesforce and share insights with Sales and Marketing.
