Job summary

AGL is seeking a Customer Operations Administrator for the Perth Energy (C&I) team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. The role focuses on day-to-day operations, customer outcomes, and office functionality, with duties spanning ESA administration, data accuracy, and stakeholder liaison.

You will support billing, contracts, and internal operations, delivering high-quality service to Perth Energy customers and internal teams, while identifying process improvements and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in office administration or business support roles.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good numeracy and comfort with calculations/validation checks.
• Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with billing or accounting systems such as Gentrack or SAP (desirable).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including handling sensitive customer conversations.

Responsibilities

• Administer Energy Service Agreements (ESAs) including validation, execution and customer liaison.
• Maintain accurate customer and contract data in billing systems.
• Provide professional customer support via phone and email, resolving or escalating queries.
• Support day-to-day Perth office operations including meetings, travel, supplies and facilities coordination.
• Liaise with Western Power and ATCO on service orders, new connections and churn processes.
• Provide general administrative and business support to internal teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
