Job summary

CMC Markets is seeking an End User Support Engineer to join our Sydney IT team. Based in Barangaroo and Chatswood, you’ll provide 1st and 2nd line desktop support to internal users and ensure devices are ready for deployment.

The role emphasizes AV support, onboarding, remote-work enablement, and proactive service improvements. Experience with Windows 11, Intune, Mac management (Jamf), and cloud-based telephony is highly valued.

Qualifications

Essential Windows 11 Intune Microsoft 365 Autopilot Macbooks/Jamf
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask under pressure, ensuring service delivery is maintained
Desirable experience in ITIL environments
Experience supporting Modern Audio Visual solutions
Telephony cloud-based solutions
Server hardware and data centre/comms room maintenance
Involvement in large-scale projects/rollouts

Responsibilities

Provide 1st and 2nd line desktop support services to internal customer base
Ensure all laptops and desktops are built and ready for deployment at all times
Manage the flow of work coming into the team, escalate to 3rd line as needed
Provide first point of contact support to end users, including guidance and training
Onboarding new staff and exiting leavers professionally and promptly
AV support for Video Conferencing suites
Support for remote working
Manage customer expectations and provide regular updates
Maintain high-quality, on-time task delivery
Proactively improve support processes and document all steps
