Job summary

University of Sydney is seeking an Education Support Officer within the Faculty of Medicine and Health. The role provides education administrative and operational support to academic and teaching staff, coordinating education resources, supporting Canvas and online learning systems, and compiling curriculum materials for printed and online platforms.

The position supports compliance with Faculty requirements and aims to enhance the student and staff experience.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Experience in administrative support within a tertiary organisation and knowledge of higher education structures.
Ability to support education programs and collaborate with teaching staff.

Responsibilities

Provide operational and education administrative support to academic and teaching staff.
Coordinate and maintain education resources, databases and contact lists for learning activities.
Assist with preparation and publication of curriculum materials for printed and online platforms (Canvas).
Support development and maintenance of course and subject documentation with copyright compliance.
Coordinate education processes including assessments, examinations, awards and student evaluations.
Gather and analyze routine data to support reporting and planning.
Contribute to education projects and service improvements with education teams.
