Job summary

The University of Sydney is seeking a Senior Education Support and Project Officer to lead educational administration and strategic projects within the School of Computer Science, located on the Darlington Campus. You will oversee examinations, results processing, curriculum changes, and related activities while providing high-quality communications and support to staff and students.

You will manage resources, reporting, and compliance, driving continuous improvement and strategic initiatives

Qualifications

• a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience
• experience with learning management systems and education administration

Responsibilities

• oversee key semester operations, including examinations, results processing, curriculum changes and related activities
• deliver clear, high-quality communications and documentation while providing responsive, service-oriented support to academic staff, students, and key stakeholders
• enhance education processes, using feedback to drive continuous improvement
• foster strong collaboration and communication by building effective relationships across the Faculty, with central units, and among Education Support Officers to ensure a cohesive and connected approach to education services
• provide senior administrative support to academic and teaching staff, offering expert policy interpretation and procedural guidance
• coordinate and contribute to strategic initiatives and projects that advance education services across the school
• ensure compliance and integrity by delivering timely reports
• provide effective supervision, coaching and support to the Education Support team, fostering individual performance, career development and a high-performing team.
