Job summary

St Paul’s Catholic Primary School - Rapid Creek is seeking an ICT Support Officer to deliver technical support, software and hardware maintenance, and system administration. The role focuses on keeping the digital education environment safe, reliable, and optimised for primary education.

The successful candidate will be the main point of contact for staff and students, align with CENT safeguarding policies, and support classroom technology with a collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary IT qualifications or 2–3 years of equivalent commercial desktop/network support experience.
• Experience managing Windows desktops, Google Workspace, and basic network routing/switching.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for teachers, staff, and students.
• Configure and maintain desktop systems, displays, Chromebooks, IP phones, and printing hubs.
• Triage and resolve or elevate issues.
• Maintain network connectivity including LAN/WAN and Wi‑Fi.
• Manage user accounts in Google Workspace and related platforms.
• Enforce backups, patches, and basic cybersecurity updates.
