Job summary

Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst in Dubbo seeks a Service Desk Officer to provide first-line ICT support, deliver remote and onsite assistance across schools and offices, and assist with procurement and equipment as required.

You will work in a team, communicate clearly, support staff and students, promote self-service, travel across sites, and contribute to service improvement. The role offers a 35-hour week, salary up to $86,935 plus super.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering ICT support in education or similar settings.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with ITSM platforms and ticket management processes.
• Ability to work independently and across multiple teams/sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support and triage service desk tickets.
• Deliver remote and onsite ICT support across school and office environments.
• Communicate clearly with users regarding issue resolution and timelines.
• Support staff and students in using approved ICT services to enhance teaching and learning.
• Promote a self-service culture by empowering users through training and support.
• Participate in ICT projects, meetings and service improvement initiatives.
• Assist with equipment procurement, budgeting and audiovisual support as required.
• Ensure compliance with Work Health & Safety policies and report hazards.
