Catholic Education Services in Cairns is seeking a dedicated IT Technical Support Officer (Service Desk) to provide frontline user support from our head office and across Catholic Education schools in the region. You will be the first point of contact for IT assistance, delivering clear, patient guidance to staff and students when needed.

The role involves daily service desk activity, remote and on-site support, and travel to school sites around Cairns and the Northern Beaches.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting Information Technology systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work with non-technical users.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate within a IT team.

Responsibilities

• Daily service desk support for staff and schools.
• Check and maintain office systems, AV equipment, printers and collaboration tech.
• Travel to school sites across Cairns region as required.
