Job summary

Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst is seeking a committed Service Desk Officer to join the Dubbo Office on a full-time permanent basis. This role provides first-line ICT support and delivers remote and onsite service across school and office environments.

You will communicate clearly with users, support staff and students in using approved ICT services, promote a self-service culture, and participate in ICT projects. Travel across sites is required; 35-hour weeks and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Proven ICT support experience in education or similar setting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ITSM platforms and ticketing processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support and triage service desk tickets.
• Deliver remote and onsite ICT support across schools and offices.
• Communicate clearly with users regarding issues and timelines.
• Support staff and students in using ICT services to enhance teaching and learning.
• Promote self-service culture through training and guidance.
• Participate in ICT projects and service improvement initiatives.
• Assist with equipment procurement, budgeting, and audiovisual support.
• Ensure compliance with Work Health & Safety policies.
