Job summary

Goodstart Woodford is seeking a Casual Educator to support our centres and children across shifts from 6am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. This role offers flexible hours, with induction and training provided, and a strong focus on safety, inclusivity and continuous improvement.

You will contribute to the education program, supervise children, and build positive relationships with families while adhering to National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood or ACECQA approved equivalent
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
• Willing to travel between local services and have flexible availability Monday–Friday

Responsibilities

• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team
• Engaging and supervising the children at all times
• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members
• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families
• Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures
• Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement

You’ll need

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)

• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

• Current QLD Working with Children Check

• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training, completed via Geccko platform

• Willing to travel between other local servicesand have flexible availability between Monday-Friday
