Goodstart Caloundra & Surrounds is hiring a Casual Educator. You’ll work across local centres with flexible shifts, earning above award wages and casual loading. You’ll have a home base centre for support and can work at multiple locations as needed.

You’ll contribute to learning programs, supervise children, and ensure safety while fostering strong relationships with families. This role supports inclusive practices and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved early childhood qualification.
• Current QLD Working with Children Check.
• Willing to travel between local services.
• Flexible availability between Monday–Friday, 6am–6pm.

Responsibilities

• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team.
• Engaging and supervising the children at all times.
• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
