Job summary

PremiAir Services is seeking an experienced Hire Controller to join our Newcastle operations at the Thornton depot. Reporting to the Newcastle Branch Manager, you will assist in running day-to-day hire operations, communication with customers, and coordination of hire contracts and logistics.

Ideal candidates will have experience in the hire industry or transport, strong time-management and organisational skills, and a reliable, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in the hire industry or transport operations preferred.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Reliable, punctual and positive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Answer and attend to incoming calls from customers.
• Create and data enter hire contracts.
• Process customer orders, hire contracts and delivery/collection notes.
• Prepare customer invoicing.
• Coordinate transport and logistics movements.
• Maintain service records and handle administration.
• Liaise with workshop to prepare equipment for hire.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Miscellaneous duties as directed.
