The Australian Hotels & Event Management Group – Darlington NSW is seeking a dynamic Duty Manager for the Royal Hotel Darlington. You will lead a motivated team, drive guest experience, and push operational excellence in a busy hospitality venue.

We value strategic thinking, strong numeracy and marketing acumen, and a hands-on leadership style. Late-night and weekend availability is required in this full-time role.

Qualifications

• 1 year hospitality management experience.
• Experience in Bar and Restaurant environments.
• Experience managing financial aspects of a business.
• Ability to lead, train and develop a team.
• First aid certificate preferred but not essential.

About You:

• Mature-minded, driven and honest individual.
• Able to confidently train and lead a team.
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, with a sound knowledge of microsoft office.
• Ensuring superior service and quality to ensure delivery ofoutstanding guest experiences.
• Drive a positive working environment and lead by example asa manager
• Knowledge of, and interest in, all things gaming. Must have TAB/gaming experience.
• Able to work full-time, shift-work hours. Late night and weekend availability are a must.
• Basic knowledge of industry regulations.
• Maintaining current market knowledge and harnessing your ability to engage and execute promotional/marketing concepts to assist in business growth.
• Critical to this role is the ability to take a strategic approach in driving revenue.
• Management, food and beverage, customer service and achieving financial targets.

What is required?

• 1yrs Hospitality Management experience
• Exposure to both Bar and Restaurant environments
• Experience in the controlling financial aspects of a business
• The ability to lead, train and develop a team
