Job summary

RACV Torquay seeks a Duty Manager to provide hands-on operational leadership across Front Office and accommodation services. You will oversee the property during your shift, support team members and ensure members, guests and visitors receive an exceptional experience.

Key duties include leading Front Office and housekeeping teams, maintaining service standards, safety and security, handling guest feedback, and supporting staffing, training and reporting. Flexible for weekends/evenings.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a customer-facing role, ideally hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of Front Office and hotel or resort operations.
• Confident leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience delivering on-the-job training.
• Flexible to work weekends, evenings and non-standard hours.
• Current driver’s licence and First Aid Level 2 qualifications.

Responsibilities

About the Opportunity

What you’ll need to be successful

• Supervisory experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within hospitality
• Strong knowledge of Front Office and hotel or resort operations
• Confident leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience delivering on-the-job training
• Current driver’s licence and First Aid Level 2 qualifications
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and non-standard hours
• Experience with OPERA or a similar hotel booking system, along with a current RSA, will be highly regarded. Appointment is subject to police and Working with Children checks.
