Job summary

RACV Limited in Torquay seeks a hands-on Food & Beverage Team Leader to support daily operations of our outlets and deliver exceptional experiences for members, guests and visitors.

You will lead a team, coordinate with kitchen and events, and ensure high standards of service and safety while managing feedback and promoting efficient staffing in a busy resort setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Food & Beverage team in a luxury 4–5 star resort or similar.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead, train and motivate a busy hospitality team.
• Confidence using POS systems and handling customer feedback.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership and direction to Food & Beverage Attendants.
• Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the outlet.
• Deliver high-quality, timely and professional service to members and guests.
• Coordinate with management, kitchen, bar and events teams.
• Manage customer feedback and resolve difficult situations.
• Support staffing efficiencies, minimise wastage and complete end-of-day requirements.
• Lead by example and maintain high standards of service, presentation and safety.

About the Opportunity

Join RACV’s Leisure team in a hands-on leadership role where you’ll support the day-to-day operation of our Food & Beverage outlets while creating exceptional experiences for members, guests and visitors.

• Providing hands-on leadership and direction to Food & Beverage Attendants

What you’ll need to be successful

• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage Team Leader role within a 4–5 star resort or similar environment
• Demonstrated experience as a Food & Beverage Attendant
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• The ability to lead, train and motivate a team in a busy hospitality environment
• Confidence using POS systems and managing customer feedback
• A Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate, which can be arranged on the job
