Job summary

CSC Group is seeking a Duty Manager to join our Glass House Mountains club. You’ll lead a diverse team, uphold CARES values, and drive outstanding service while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.

You’ll be supported by management and play a key role in day-to-day operations, health and safety, and managing a rotating roster that includes evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Hold RMLV, Approved Manager Licence, RSA, RSG, Police Check and Food Safety Certificates, or willing to obtain.
• Ability to work a rotating roster including evenings and weekends.
• Hospitality allrounder with knowledge of Gaming, Food and Beverage.

Responsibilities

You'll be supported by your Operations Manager as well as the wider Group team. Within this role you'll contribute significantly to the day-to-day operations and wider success of our club by leading our team in delivering outstanding service and providing a welcoming club atmosphere.

A typical day for our team of Duty Managers is varied (never dull), but an indication of what you'll be doing and what you'll need to be successful:

Team Leadership: Lead and support team members, promoting our internal CARES values of Connected, Aligned, Respectful, Engaging and Supportive.

Customer Service Excellence: Ensure a high standard of service delivery, respond to feedback and enhance the overall customer experience.

Problem Solving: Identify operational issues, recommend solutions, and communicate outcomes.

Crisis Management: Act calmly and swiftly to manage emergencies or unexpected situations.

Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure the club adheres to health and safety regulations, promoting a safe environment for both team and patrons.

About you

Experience as a hospitality allrounder with a solid understanding of all areas, Gaming, Food and Beverage etc.

Have full availability and expect to work a rotating roster with evenings and weekends.

Proven experience in inspiring, motivating, and managing a diverse team effectively, ideally within hospitality.

Can work effectively in a team, encouraging and valuing input of others.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in identifying issues quickly and developing practical solutions.

Can make sound decisions under pressure.

Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and enhancing member experience.

Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise responsibilities efficiently.

Can prioritise tasks and time effectively to meet deadlines and operational needs.

In-depth understanding of relevant laws and regulations affecting club operations and safety compliance.

Must hold RMLV, Approved Manager Licence, RSA, RSG, Police Check and Food Safety Certificates, or willing to obtain.
