Job summary

Club Broadbeach on the Gold Coast is seeking a hands-on Duty Manager to lead day-to-day operations across bar, bistro, gaming, and floor service. You will set the tone on the floor, drive standards, and ensure members and guests receive a consistently high-quality experience.

This leadership role requires a proactive manager who can coach staff, manage rostering, and uphold club policies. A rotating roster including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Duty Manager or Supervisor in hospitality, gaming, or a licensed venue.
• Strong operational knowledge across bar, gaming, and customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
• Availability to work a rotating roster including nights and weekends.
• Current RSA & RSG.
• Current QLD Approved Manager Licence (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations across bar, bistro, gaming, and floor service.
• Drive a strong customer first culture across all departments.
• Manage and support staff on shift, including coaching and performance.
• Ensure compliance with RSA, RSG, and all club policies and procedures.
• Oversee cash handling, tills, and end-of-day processes.
• Manage stock control, ordering, and venue presentation.
• Coordinate and deliver functions, promotions, and in-club events.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.

About the Role

This is a true hands-on leadership position where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the venue while leading the team to deliver exceptional service every shift.

You will set the tone on the floor, drive standards, and ensure our members and guests receive a consistently high-quality experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations across bar, bistro, gaming, and floor service
• Drive a strong customer firstculture across all departments
• Manage and support staff on shift, including coaching, performance, and service standards
• Ensure compliance with RSA, RSG, and all club policies and procedures
• Oversee cash handling, tills, and end-of-day processes
