Job summary

Australian Unity Limited is hiring for a Permanent Part-Time Home Care Assistant to support elderly customers to live independently at home in Trundle and surrounding areas. You will provide cleaning, laundry, meal prep and companionship, working 6 hours per day between 8am and 3pm across a flexible Monday–Sunday schedule.

The role offers 20 hours per fortnight with potential flex-up hours, a competitive hourly rate, 12% super, a travel/km allowance, and paid travel time.

Qualifications

• Live in or near Trundle including surrounding suburbs (Tullamore, Fifield, Bogan Gate).
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car.
• Has experience in domestic assistance.
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am to 3pm, Monday to Sunday.
• Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start; travel is required for training.
• This is NOT a vacancy for Disability or to work in a facility/nursing home.
