Australian Unity Limited is seeking compassionate care staff to support elderly clients at home in the Dubbo area. You will provide domestic help and personal care, including transportation support, while committing to a two-week training program.

This role offers permanent part-time and casual hours with a competitive hourly rate and travel allowances. Applicants must have a current Australian driver's licence with a own car, live near Dubbo NSW, and be available 8am–3pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• 12 months personal care worker experience in an aged care setting.
• Live in or near Dubbo NSW including surrounding suburbs.
• Australian Drivers' Licence with own car.
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am to 3pm, Mon–Fri.
• Commitment to 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training; travel for training.

Do you meet these minimum requirements?

• Live in or near Dubbo NSWincluding surrounding suburbs
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licencewith your own car(sorry, we cannot accept International licences or shared/rental vehicles)
• Have 12 months personal care workerindustry experience in a paid Aged Care setting
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am to 3pm, Monday to Friday(weekend availability is a bonus but not required)
• Commitmentto our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Trainingwhen you start! (Get ready to learn, grow & be supported!) Travel is required for training.
• Know this is NOTa vacancy for Disability or to work in a facility/nursing home

What this role offers:

• Hourly Rate: $34.80 - $36.59 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time

• Provide domestic assistance, such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Provide personal care services including showering, toileting, assistance with medications, as well as domestic duties & social supports such as assisting with transportation for clients.
