Job summary

UGL Pty Limited in Brisbane is seeking a disciplined Document Controller to join its Brisbane team. You’ll set up, manage and maintain document control systems across multiple projects, ensuring registers, transmittals and drawings are accurate and compliant.

Based in Brisbane CBD, this full-time role offers exposure to major power, energy and infrastructure projects, collaborative design teams, and opportunities to progress into a senior position.

Qualifications

• Hands-on document control experience with electronic document management systems within engineering, utilities, construction or heavy industry.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage high volumes of documentation across multiple concurrent projects.
• Clear communication skills and a team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Set up, manage and maintain document control systems for projects and tenders, including document and drawing registers.
• Register, track, distribute, revise and archive controlled project documentation.
• Manage document workflows and ensure compliance with UGL, client and ISO9001 requirements.
• Coordinate design submissions, transmittals and revisions, reviewing documents for accuracy, format and compliance.
